Shazia commented, "for Sara my influence was the song of the same name written by Stevie Nicks. It wasn’t my first port of call to work around the song it was just something that occurred to me whilst painting. “When you build your house, call me home” - the blossom branch balanced on her head symbolises shelter and possibly the balance of things we hold close to us. It’s hard to articulate something that begins as a thought in your head; you don’t know why you put a branch on the head of the portrait you paint but it seems the right thing to do."
